Quissamã
Located near the south region of Lagoa Feia (Ugly Lagoon), the fresh, tepid and
dark waters of Enseada do Tatu (Armadillo Inlet) are one of its main attractions.
On its margins, the typical shoal vegetation is ideal for camping. Surfers usually
frequent Praia do Farol (Lighthouse Beach) and Barra do Furado, both to the
north. Almost 60% of the area of Parque Nacional da Restinga de Jurubatiba is
in the city, where its main office is also located.
