Pinheiral
The mandatory stop is the railway station, built in 1870, which preserves original
neoclassical features and shelters the Biblioteca Municipal Ardelino Barbosa
(Ardelino Barbosa City Library). The Colégio Agrícola Nilo Peçanha (Nilo
Peçanha Agricultural Body), situated in the old Pinheiro farm, which was once
considered the biggest coffee producer in Brazil, offers visits for pig, rabbit, and
goat raising, the vegetable garden, demonstrating several budding processes.
A lunch at the site completes the tour.
